I got up this morning to take a walk because it was such a beautiful day! We are hiking Half Dome this spring, so I really need to get some sort of training going daily. I thought I would save some gas money and walk to the store for the ingredients I needed to make the Dr. Oz Green Drink for breakfast. Going was pretty good - but coming back with 3 pounds of organic apples, 2 bags of chard, a cucumber, 4 lemons, 2 limes and 1 mango in tow was harder! I mapped it when I got home - it was 7.5 miles round trip!
If you think that is impressive, let me brag on my husband for a moment- last night he rode 21 miles on his bike - practically all of them up hill! I'm married to a machine! This is also impressive in that he has only been on his good eating and exercise plan for 2.5 months! He is a born athlete - guess that is the benefit, once you start back to exercise, you just spring right back into shape. He has lost over 30 pounds in these 2.5 months!
So, I spent $9.43 this morning on my ingredients. I made the Dr. Oz Green Drink for our breakfast and it did taste like a "glass of fresh" as Oprah puts it!
Here is my outfit of the day.............happiness in a Target hat! That's about all..........happy with intention to reach my goal in May and have fun along the way!
