OOTD-Nautical

I've looked for a basic white cotton skirt for over a year now- just a simple one I could wear for every day. I finally found it at Ross (and they typically have NO good skirt selection). I am happy because I will wear this so many ways over the warmer months. I am more comfortable in a skirt than shorts or jeans.

I've started the Chalene Johnson 30-day Challenge and I'm loving it. You all may recall I won a contest a few years ago and Chalene was a guest in my home! I love her!

    Very cute. I always fear I will look too much like a sailor when I pair stripes with white. Clearly you have proven my theory false!

    As much as I do love my Ross, you're right that they don't have good skirts. That one is fabulous, though! I've also been in search of a great white skirt and a great denim skirt too. So glad you found yours! You look so french chic with the stripes and the flower!

    Ah, the white skirt...I'll still have yet to find a perfect, non-see-through, appropriate length white skirt. I'm a little jealous. But congrats to you, and I love the stripes with the bold red flower.
