In this life, sometimes we will struggle. As a Christian, I find I struggle with trying to keep my focus. "Keep the main thing, the main thing." Keep my eyes on the prize.
"I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." Philipians 3:14
This is my goal - to make it to heaven, to take my family with me and to take as many people who will accept the Word with me. Then why do I struggle so? Why am I so easily distracted by the things of this world? Why do I let the cares of this world absorb my time? What long lasting, eternal effect do they have on my life?

The great apostle Paul said this in Romans, "For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate." Rom. 7:15 Paul took the words right out of my mouth! God's Word is so comforting, knowing that even Paul struggled with this world as I do.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Rom. 12:2
And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. I John 2:17

Christian sisters, please pray for me, that I may keep my focus, stay in the Word and seek always to do God's will above my own.
Those are my goals too! I'll be praying for you!!
