Mimicking Jcrew & Thursday Target Threads

Every once in a while I go on a Jcrew binge where I love all things Jcrew! I scour the catalogs, AKA "Style Guides", and try to recreate looks.  Pictures store in the back of mind of things I saw at Jcrew that pop out at me when I'm at Target.  

Here is today's example- my pic in the dirty Target mirror!  The most expensive item in this outfit are my shoes!

Shirt: Xhilaration Peplum Top $5
Pants: Mossimo Ankle Pants $7.49
Shoes: Sam  & Libby via Ross $10
Bows on shoes: Ichibancan $1
Necklace: Old Navy $1.50
Total Outfit Cost $25!!!

I never know how long things like printed pants are going to be "in", so it's nice to be on "trend" without spending more than I would for lunch!

  1. I'm with you Peggy, no need to spend a lot on trends when we can get great knock-offs at Target! This is a beautiful ladylike outfit. Love the peplum.
