I stopped by Anthro on Tuesday, convenient for me, the markdown day! I was really dying to try on the Grasslands Dress and boy was it a big let down! Oh well......I still had some gift certificate $$ to spend, so I ended up with a top and dress.
First I tried the new Landmarks Jacket in white. I liked it, but not LOVED it. Maybe the sage would have been better. I still really want a tan jacket and a cargo coat, so I think I will pass on this one. It fits true to size and it is tailored very nicely. My daughter just reminded me I have a jacket like this - haha - now that I look at it I do! It is a Merona 3/4 sleeve from last year that I got for a whopping $12!

Oh great sadness......how I wanted this Grasslands Dress! I so loved it online! I thought I could wear a cardi over it and make the skinny straps work, but alas, it is cut too low, so no go. I love the bottom ruffles - so girly and would look darling with cowgirl boots!

The Fireside Cardigan was a lucky sale find but I'm kind of tuckered out on thick cardigans and Spring is just around the corner, so none for me. I liked it a lot though and it was very comfy!

I missed the Wavelet, bought and returned the Ice-Capped (because it was dry clean only- I don't wear dry-clean only) and then found this baby, Partly Cloudy! It is machine washable and has the same feminine, detailed effects I loved of the Ice-Capped so this baby was SOLD!! Thank you! Can't wait to wear it.

you are so cute peggy!!
ReplyDeleteYour comment on the denim dress made me literally LOL. I'll bet you are the cutest mom at church! I'm glad you commented on my blog, so that I could find your blog - love it!
