My most prized gift!

I just had to do a quick post to show you all what my 10 year old daughter made me for Christmas! I can't even believe it!

I had expressed interest in this beautiful shawl some time back when we saw it on Dottie Angel. My sweet daughter took note and set to work making it for my Christmas gift! I am amazed! She is self-taught and studied the photo and read the tutorial and made this all by herself!

I absolutely love it! I wore it today with a gray t-neck and tan cords and am wearing it again to church tomorrow with a black sweater dress. It's so Anthro-esque! She put her own spin it by adding her signature crocheted rose as a closure. I am so grateful for the gift of love, a hand-made item that took her time and patience to create something special for me!!

  1. I love it! Crochet right? I knit, but my mom does crochet. My ten year old dabbles in both. :)

That is certainly something to be proud of. It is gorgeous work. Evenly stitched and very pretty!!!
