When you meet blogging friends in real life!

It's been a super fun two days, hanging out with Debra and her husband, Jay! My husband, children and I took Debra and Jay on a driving tour of San Francisco today and it was loads of fun. Debra is exactly how I thought she would be from reading her blog, then emailing her and even talking on the phone. Being around her was like being with a friend I've known for years. Her husband has the same easy-going, fun personality and we all got along like we had been long-time friends! We saw the sights all around San Francisco and Muir Woods, and were treated to In-and-Out and Jay even bought the kids Ghirardelli sundaes! Yumm!

These are the gals who came to the blogger meet-up! Bethy of Style Aesthetic and Anjali of Love and Wardrobe. It was so great meeting these ladies! They were both as I had imagined them from reading their blogs. It was fun to get to visit and get to know each other better. We had a great time shopping the Anthro racks and chatting along the way about jobs, marriage, children and blogging.

To me, this is THE best thing I have gained from blogging. Although I have gained a ton of inspiration, fashion and sale tips, and have learned along the way more about myself and my own style, it's the friendships I have gained across the internet waves that mean the most.

  2.  How fun!  I have met 3 blogger friends and it has been the best experience!  Lifelong friends for sure.:)  Blogging has made the world so much smaller and it is wonderful!  Lori

  3. So glad you guys got to meet up. Good to see Anjali with her head (-: I am up super late tonight (or I guess it is morning!). I have been in the emergency room. Turns out my hubby has gall stones. He was in severe pain but he is fine now. What a night!

  10. That looks like so much fun!!  I've met one blogger friend in real life but feel that I've met more.  It's definitely a bonus of this strange form of communication. :)

By the way, have you seen Scary Mommy blog?  She's being clothed this month by Target.  Here's the link.

  14. This is so awesome!! I love that you guys got to meet in person and that you all looked so fab doing it:-)
Peggy-I have to see how you wore that Jovovich-Hawk for Target dress...I had it sitting in my buy/return corner for a couple months, but ended up returning it when I couldn't figure out how I would style it. It was a little too short for even me. Now seeing it on you i'm wishing I had kept it to wear with skinny jeans or something!
    Love this post:-)
