I was there at 8:10 - the entire women's line was gone! Entire housewares was GONE! Men's sweaters GONE! Boo-Hoo! Can't get online. I got one cardigan - how did you all do??

  1. From all the reports I have been hearing, it has been absolute chaos at Target!  I will hold my breath for some sale items later on down the road (hopefully)!

I only went for home stuff, and was disgusted at the amount of women I saw with STACKS of like items, then show up on ebay in a matter of an hour. My husband was the one who told me that would happen, it never occurred to me!
I got the duvet and the comforter set, to decide which I liked best on the bed, but got home and realized I got the wrong size in the duvet! Ugh.
So a platter, and some bedding. That is it.

  3. Uh oh.  I was just thinking about heading over there to browse the collection, but it sounds like I'm probably too late!

Me too! I confronted the manager as to why they were not limiting quantities.

  6. I did well! Had to go to 2 different stores, but I'm happy with what I was able to found. Just posted the pics on my blog. I, too, saw tons of old ladies at both Targets today pushing HUGE carts full of stuff. What they're asking for it on EBay is insane. $125 for a baby onesie? Yeah ok. That pissed me off.

  7. That is crazy! I live in SC and was in Target today for some household items and saw all the Missoni stuff being put out.  It was after lunch and everything was still in stock. (i guess it pays to live out of the fashion limelight!) I liked a cute dress I saw for my 4th grader but it was $45! That seems pricey to me....no matter who designs it, we are still talking Target folks! Maybe some of the stuff will be around for clearance and then I might bite! :)

  8. You're from the Bay Area, right? I came late at 10:30 and the first store (Colma) was bare...just a few ladies congregating in disbelief. So I went to another (Serramonte) and all they had was a few green corduroy trenches. I nabbed a sweater in the go backs section of the dressing room, and on my way back I found a cart full of Missoni go backs and found note cards. Then I tried one more (San Bruno) and they were wiped clean as well. I checked Ebay and I'm so annoyed at the amount of stuff on there. $250 for the black pumps, really??!?! Luckily I was able to order a bunch of stuff online with free shipping. But most of it will be returned as I had to order multiples so I can decide on colors when I get them!

  9. Terrible! I was going to head out early to my local Target and couldn't make it in time for when they opened. Luckily someone posted on one of the blogs I read often that my local Target was completely wiped out of ALL the Missoni products by 8:20am. I just came back about an hour ago and apparently the store had re-stocked late in the afternoon, and in 10 minutes everything was gone again. I saw ladies with carts FULL of stuff, some were talking about how they were going to sell it on Ebay (fat chance, because everyone else is doing that too!). Even the workers were in disbelief as to how fast everything disappeared. I'm upset that these folks would do that, but I'm more upset at Target for not setting a limit on how much the costumers can buy. Does Target think it's okay for customers to shove entire racks of clothes into their carts? I guess all that matters is quick money, good job Target!

  10. Peggy I'd be happy to, altho I didn't order much clothing. Three pairs of boots (all diff colors, all size 7 because I couldn't decide what color I wanted). Then a couple of train cases, and then each color of the corduroy trench in size S. I was able to try the S in green at Serramonte and it ran a little big, more of a medium. Also ordered a pair of tights and black 7.5 pumps. Didn't order any housewares and I'm sort of kicking myself for that now. Anyways..one of my friends has first dibs on whatever I don't want and then I can let you know what I have left :)

  11. I did just ok...I got there right before opening and there was a line. I managed to snag the espresso set, which was my only must have, and a few dresses. I couldn't find any cardigans. : ( It was really insane, and there were many people hoarding carts worth of merchandise...ugh.

  13. Yep, I started to go & then figured there was really no point. I live over an hour away from the nearest target so I would have been so disappointed.
