Who Let the Dogs Out to Vote?

It's Election Day! November 6th!  Show your spirit!  I'm showing my spirit in my red, white and blue because we are blessed to live in America, the land of free and the home of the brave!

The kids have a big school project today - they have to conduct an exit poll.  We will be at the polling place for a while today!

I don't follow politics that closely. Perhaps I should follow it more. I feel that my time is better spent nurturing and encouraging my children.  I do, however, appreciate the freedom in America and I want it to remain a strong and moral country.  No matter what the outcome of today's election, I know Who is in control - the Almighty.  We serve a powerful God and I put my trust in Him.

Detail of doggies on the shirt!

Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, to whom belong wisdom and might. He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding (Daniel 2:20-21).

Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God (Romans 13:1).

  1. Amen. I'm thrilled we have the rights we do, but even more thrilled to worship a God who has it all in hand.

  2. Hi!

Just wanted to let you know I got my giveaway package and love everything! I've worn the scarf and earrings quite a bit already, thanks!

  3. Hey Katy! Yay, I'm so glad. Thanks for writing.

  4. So happy to have God-fearing blogger friends!

  5. I agree...we are so blessed to live in a place where we have the right to vote and choose our leaders.
On a superficial note, I LOVE the dog blouse!

Great take on patriotic! I too love that doggie shirt. And the scripture. God is always in control.

  7. Love your patriotic colors for Election Day! Every year as I get older I learn more about history and what our country stands for and I, too, am so thankful for our rights and freedoms.

  8. Thanks! I got this blouse and a kitty one at Old Navy earlier this year. I love me some animal prints! haha

  9. Thanks Leah! It's true- the more I study with the kids, the more I learn. Currently reading The Autobiography of Ben Franklin - so interesting!

  10. Thanks Alison! It's a comfort for sure to know who holds the future!
