OOTD-Staying Warm in Refinement!

One thing is for sure- I get cold easily! In my house all day, even with a fire, I am usually wearing layers or a big sweater! So, I have to stay warm to be happy! Today I chose my Refined Cord Shirtdress layered over a turtleneck. Boots keep me extra warm. We are working away in our schoolroom until time for soccer practice!

Dress: Anthro Refined Cord Shirtdress

Tneck: Kohls

Tights: Banana Republic

Boots: Sears

Weird sales just keep falling into my lap! Like these shoes I pined after in summer! I couldn't find them any where in my size then, but yesterday found them for $4.95.
And I went looking for the Tucker for Target Signature Blouse and happened upon this Painted Flowers Tunic - on sale for $27.99 right now (30% off) but for some reason this one was $10.07??? Go figure- it was my size, so now it's mine! Yeah for unexpected sales!
Anyone have any styling tips for this tunic?? Thanks! And now, I switch from Teacher to Lunch Lady!

  1. Um I am totally going shopping with you! Where are these sales coming from? Amazing!

I'd probably wear the tunic with some skinny jeans/leggings and boots. Or with a pencil skirt for work. Anyway you wear it, it'll be adorable!

  5. Great tunic! I'd definitely belt it. Or tuck it into a pencil skirt.

  6. You find the best deals girl! I think the tunic would work best with leggings/skinny jeans, boots and a belt. I'm thinking a cognac belt would offset the black nicely. Can't wait to see how you style it!

  8. congrats on the sale finds! I totally bundle up at home too. It keeps me more relaxed while I work... otherwise my fingers go numb and i start attributing my cold/tensedness to work stress, lol
