What Shakeology has done for me!

Someone asked me to talk about Shakeology and what it has done for me as a result of adding it to my nutrition regimen.  I have been back to Beachbody workouts since January, so that means 9 months completed of regular working out!  It feels good.  Beachbody has been instrumental in helping me get from........ no working out back into working out several times a week.  I love the company and their programs.  So far this year I have done Power 90, Insanity and Turbo Fire.  Currently I'm doing a little Turbo Fire, Bikram yoga at a studio and training to run a half-marathon with a friend. None of this would have been possible without Beachbody and I believe, Shakeology.

I added Shakeology to my regime at the beginning of July, so that means I've taken it daily for 3 months now.  I believe what Shakeology does for me, is fill holes in my nutrition, so I have extra added insurance for my body.  I already eat well - try to get in my greens and lean proteins, water, fiber.  But, there are things found in Shakeology that I do not get in my regular diet.

  1. I've been drinking Shakeology for a couple of years now too. I was a coach, but decided to go back to being a customer. I haven't tried the vegan chocolate or the strawberry yet, but I have the regular chocolate packets right now. I usually make mine with almond milk, a frozen banana, a tablespoon of peanut butter and some ice. I like it with pumpkin and cinnamon this time of year.

  2. I have it first thing in the morning. I eat 5 times a day so it's more like a snack. The power is 150 calories and I blend it in almond milk which is 30 calories. I toss in some spinach which you can't taste! Then about 10am I have a hard boiled egg and piece of chicken sausage. If you want it to replace a meal you can add a banana and peanut butter to make it more filling.
    They also sell a greenberry version, a chocolate vegan version and a strawberry vegan flavor but original chocolate is my favorite .
